This page explains who writes and edits Neighbor Nest Hub, how each guide is made, and the standards every guide is held to before it is published.

Who writes Neighbor Nest Hub

Neighbor Nest Hub is written and edited by Mayank Yadav. Mayank writes the site’s guides, checks them against their sources, and is responsible for what appears here.

Every published guide carries Mayank’s byline. Naming a responsible editor is the point: a real person reviews each guide and stands behind it, rather than the site publishing anonymous copy that no one owns.

How a guide is made

We are open about our process. Each guide goes through the same steps before it is published:

1. Research. We gather information from public, authoritative sources: government and safety agencies, tenant-rights and consumer organisations, manufacturers, mediation resources, and established references. Where a claim touches safety or law, we point to the primary source.
2. Drafting. Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, working from that research. We think it is more honest to state this plainly than to leave you to guess.
3. Editing and review. Mayank reads every guide, checks it against the sources, removes anything that cannot be supported, and rewrites for clarity and accuracy. A guide is not published until it has been reviewed.

What we do and do not claim

• We do not present ourselves as licensed professionals. Nothing here is legal advice. Laws vary by location, so for a dispute that matters, talk to a tenant service or a lawyer in your jurisdiction.
• We do not publish invented personal anecdotes. Where you read a scenario or an example, it is an illustration chosen to make a point clear, not a claim about anyone’s life.
• We do not publish invented statistics. If we cite a figure, it comes from a named, checkable source.

Sources

Our guides draw on public and authoritative references appropriate to each topic: safety agencies for safety guides, tenant-rights and consumer resources for rental guides, and mediation and community resources for conflict guides. Where a specific claim rests on a source, we link to it within the guide.

Corrections

If you find something inaccurate, tell us through the contact form and include the guide title and the section. We review it, update the guide, and note the change at the bottom.

Editorial independence

Advertising is kept separate from editorial. Advertisers have no say in what we publish or how a guide is written or reviewed, and we do not run sponsored placements inside guides. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Privacy Policy for how the site is funded.
